FEEDING TIPS<\/p>\n

HYGAIN\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0POWATORQUE\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0combines the advantages and convenience of a premixed feed with conventional home mixing ensuring that all micro nutrients are met in a 2kg dose whilst providing the flexibility to manage cereal grain intake. POWATORQUE\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0is suitable for performance horses in pre-training, training and competition and has been formulated to be fed in conjunction with cereal \u00a0 grains such as oats, HYGAIN\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0MICRBARLEY\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0and\/or HYGAIN\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0MICRMAIZE\u00ae<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

HYGAIN\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0POWATORQUE\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0should be introduced to your horse\u2019s diet gradually. Feeding amount may be influenced by age, breed, exercise intensity, desired body condition and climate.<\/p>\n

Horses in training and receiving regular exercise on average will require\u00a02kg of HYGAIN\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0POWATORQUE\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0together with 4-7kg of grain and a minimum of 1.5% of body weight as fibre such as quality hay and\/or chaff. \u00a0Care should be taken to match feed intake to workload. Reduce feed intake on rest days. If horses gain weight and\/or training regime is interrupted reduce the amount of cereal grain in the diet and continue feeding HYGAIN\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0POWATORQUE\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0at the desired level.<\/p>\n

During periods of heavy sweat loss additional supplementation with an electrolyte such as\u00a0HYGAIN\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0REGAIN\u00ae<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0is recommended.<\/p>\n
